Developers can now submit an Expression of Interest (EoI) to have their development applications declared as ‘State Significant Development’ (SSD) after the launch of the Housing Delivery Authority (HDA) in December 2024.

Brooms Head Foreshore to return to the community

Brooms Head Holiday Park patrons have been notified that the sites adjacent to the beach will no longer be available for booking after May 2025 with the move marking the first step in returning the foreshore to the broader community.

This updated policy not only details the connection requirements but also includes information on water and sewer connection eligibility, associated costs, and clarifies ownership and maintenance responsibilities.
