Grafton Library Project

Clarence Valley Council is pleased to announce the commencement of the highly anticipated repair works at Grafton Library.

Maclean Community Precinct (Maclean Civic Hall)

We are redeveloping the existing Maclean Civic Hall in accordance with the approved plans, specifications, and stakeholder requirements to primarily provide an accessible and upgraded facility that meets the needs of the community and staff delivering Community Services within the LGA.

The Townsend Collective

The Townsend Collective is a proposed community precinct that will bring together a range of community, cultural, educational, recreational and social opportunities within a shared and inclusive environment

Code of Meeting Practice Policy

No feedback was received during the period of public exhibition. Council resolved (2026.476) to include the following addition to Clause 10.23
"A councillor may raise a Point of Clarification for this purpose..."

Local Biodiversity Offsets Policy

The current policy is outdated and has been updated to comply with current legislation.

Citizen of the Year Framework

The Citizen of the Year Awards Framework is a new Framework encompassing a Policy, Eligibility Criteria and Assessment Matrix, that has been developed to provide a clear, transparent and consistent process for recognising individuals and community groups.
