General Planning/Building advice
For general advice about planning/building control and minor developments you can speak to a duty Planner or Building surveyor Monday to Friday between 8:30-11:00am either in person or by phoning Council to discuss your development proposal.
Professional advice
Council can provide Profession/technical advice from a Planner, Development Engineer or a Building Surveyor including Dwelling eligibility and Confirmation of Commencement there is a Professional advice application form and fee for written advice.
Pre-lodgment Development Meeting
Pre-lodgement meetings are designed for discussions of complex, larger-scale development proposals. They are a chance for you to get feedback and general advice from relevant Council officers in preparation of your development application. Request a Pre-Lodgment Meeting.
