Installation on flood liable land

 Installation of a relocatable home or associated structure on flood liable land requires an “Approval to Install a Relocatable Home, Annexe or Associated Structure” application form to be lodged and approved, before undertaking any works. Please check with the park manager if your dwelling site is located on flood liable land.

Installation of manufactured home or associated structure of more than 1 storey

Installation of relocatable homes or associated structures of more than one storey (whether on flood liable land or not) will also need to submit a “Application to Install a Structure on a Caravan Park or Manufactured Home Estate” form and receive approval before undertaking any works.

To apply for an approval to install a relocatable home, annexe, or associated structure you must take the following steps: 

Step 1

Any relocatable home, rigid annex, or associated structure (including a carport, garage, shed, pergola or verandah) on a dwelling site must comply with the relevant provisions of the Local Government (Manufactured Home Estates, Caravan Parks, Camping Grounds and Moveable Dwellings) Regulation 2021

Step 2

Provide required documentation and complete the Approval for Installation of a Relocatable Home, Annexe, or Associated Structure on Flood Liable Land checklist

Complete and submit application form.

Written approval must be given by Council before the applicant can commence construction works. 

Step 5

Submit notice of completion of installation

You must notify Council within 7 days of completing the installation by using the online form.
