Stock on roads policy

Council is the responsible road authority for all public roads, including the road reserve from boundary fence to boundary fence. Legislation, as detailed in this policy, provides stock owners with rights and responsibilities with regard to stock on roads, however stock on roads is ultimately the responsibility of the owners of the stock.
