The Clarence Valley Active Transport Strategy 2024-2044(PDF, 13MB) is our bold commitment to creating a more walking and bike riding-friendly community. This Strategy serves as a blueprint to guide Council’s investment in walking and bike riding infrastructure, with a detailed set of interlinked, prioritised, and costed actions to build a comprehensive walking and bike riding network.

Developed through extensive community consultation, this Strategy reflects the views of residents, including the aim to ensure walking and bike riding are safer and accessible to all. Coastal Zone Management Plans and reports

 

Under the Coastal Management Act, 2016 on 31 December 2023 Coastal Zone Management Plans ceased to have effect, and need to be replaced with a gazetted Coastal Management Program (CMP).  At its August 2024 meeting Council resolved to submit an Open Coast CMP to the Minister for gazettal.
