Another Great Success for Prince Street Marketta

More than 3500 people flocked to the Grafton CBD for the second year of the Prince Street Marketta event throughout the evening to soak up the atmosphere.
The event featured a great variety of street food and refreshments, live entertainment from a range of local performers, and fun activities for the kids.
Attendees enjoyed street food from the Crown Hotel, Village Green Hotel, Toast Expresso, Rubony’s Café, Grafton District Services Club, Flame Trees Café and Cakery, Dominoes, Annola Thai Restaurant, Big River Pizza and Ashley Albert Performing Arts, Vines at 139, Sweet Temptations Candy Bar, Grafton Bakery, and 1851 Expresso Bar and Café. While the Clocktower Hotel, Ice Cream Haven, Prince Street Bakery and Takeaway and the Indian Cottage had their normal menu available throughout the event.
The main stage at the Fitzroy Street roundabout hosted a rocking lineup of local artists which was kicked off with a Welcome to Country by Uncle Ken Gordon followed by acts from Lennox Monaghan and Garimaa Ngahri, Sam Dyball, Eli Fahey Band, and Pistol Whip, with additional performances from Ashley Albert Performing Arts, Studio One Dancers, Grafton District Services Club Pipe Band, and the Thai Community Dancers.
Kids activities included a free circus play space with The Rhythm Realm, oversized games and youth activities with Headspace Grafton as well as face painting with Kawaii.
