Keep an eye out for members of Clarence Valley Council's Tourism team for your own free keepsake this Jacaranda Season.
To celebrate the festivities our Tourism Officers will be popping up at some of the iconic locations of Grafton's floral extravaganza with Polaroid camera in hand to capture your special moments in the Jacaranda City.
Simply extend a friendly hello and our team will take your free photo. Within seconds you'll be able to walk away with your very own happy snap preserved forever in print.
Clarence Valley Council Tourism Officers Jacqui McLeod and Jo Harding are all set to take hundreds of polaroid snaps on The Grafton Chair throughout Jacaranda Season.
“Jacaranda Season is an amazing time to visit our region, and with so many visitors passing through the Visitor Information Centre, we wanted to extend a warm welcome with a keepsake they can cherish," Tourism Officer Jo Harding said.
“My Clarence Valley celebrates time with family and friends and what better way than to capture these moments than amongst the purple blossoms. We hope the Polaroids help visitors enjoy these moments well after the trees have bloomed.”
The Tourism Officers are based at the Visitor Information Centre at Grafton Regional Gallery, where The Grafton Chair by artist Keith Cameron is a popular photo opportunity. Meanwhile they will also frequent See Park and Jaca Jill in Market Square at various times.
