SPEED dating with a difference returns to the Clarence Valley. Following a successful 2018 event, Council is organising a second Clarence Valley Jobs Expo.
The three-hour event will take place at Council Chambers in Grafton and will host key employers including Harwood Marine, Serco and Clarence Valley Council and all job seekers are welcome to come along.
Job opportunities to be featured at the Expo include trades, administration and support workers, trainers, managers, health care providers, apprentices, trainees and more.
Clarence Valley Council Community and Industry Engagement coordinator, Elizabeth Fairweather, said the event would provide a perfect opportunity for employers and job seekers to get to know each other. “Last year’s Jobs Expo was a great success for job seekers and employers and we know a number of people made connections and secured jobs thanks to the event.
“This is a way for connections to be made in a relaxed environment.”
The Jobs Expo will be held at the Council Chambers, 2 Prince Street, Grafton, from 10am-1pm Thursday 3rd October. For more information, visit www.clarence.nsw.gov.au/jobsexpo
